The Karma Kagyu Institute is a non-profit, educational corporation. Its purpose is to preserve and disseminate Tibetan philosophy, arts, and culture through the teachings of the Tibetan tradition, especially as propounded by the Karma Kagyu school of Buddhism. This includes classical arts and sciences such as ritual music and dance, ceremonial techniques, philosophy, astrology, history, and natural medicine. The Karma Kagyu Institute is currently housed at the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery in Woodstock, New York.
