Qualification:
At ultimate level, no qualification is needed except for the devotion.
At relative level, you need to be able to set your foot on KTD's ground on these two performance dates with your admission ticket.
(Note that ticket sales are only available to KTD's members due to limited seats.)

Appendix: Background Information on the songs

1. The World – Ah! (in English only):
The very first English song, both lyric and music, written by His Holiness in December 2005. The original lyric comes from a Tibetan poem of His Holiness’, and it was translated by a lama into English. Based on the English lyric, His Holiness composed the melody. The song beautifully describes our common wishes for harmony and peace on the earth.

2. The Long Life Prayer for His Holiness (in Tibetan only):
lyric comes from a very beautiful 8 stanza prayer written by the 14th Dalai Lama for the long life of the 17th Karmapa composed in December 1996. A renowned Taiwanese music composer, also a senior student of Khenpo Tsutrim Rinpoche, Long-Shuan Lin, wrote the melody and first introduced the song in Bodhi Gaya, India, December 2006.

3. The Lamp Prayer (in 3 languages):
lyric is by the Venerable Master Atisha, melody by the 17th Karmapa. This song was performed in 3 languages, Tibetan, English , and Chinese, at the 25th Kagyu Monlam Chenmo in front of the Maha Bodhi Temple, Bodhi Gaya, India, December, 2007. If we get enough singers in each language group, we might as well sing this song in 3 languages.
